City Rail Link TOD Precincts
Realising the land development opportunities surrounding CRL stations
In collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of economic, property, planning, infrastructure and design experts, Jasmax has developed a vision for the development of public land holdings surrounding Maungawhau (Mt Eden) and Karanga-a-Hape City Rail Link stations into exemplary Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) urban precincts.
Jasmax worked alongside Auckland Transport, Eke Panuku and City Rail Link Ltd to develop a long-term spatial masterplan outlining the quantitative and qualitative potential of increased development. The masterplan describes how to maximise the value created through investment in public transport and realise high amenity, sustainable, low-carbon neighbourhoods designed to inject vitality and viability into the city.
