Kathryn Roberts is a Senior Interior Designer with more than 15 years of local and international experience and is considered a leader in innovative workplace design.

After first joining Jasmax in 2008, Kathryn was instrumental in the interior design of highly acclaimed projects, including AUT’s Sir Paul Reeves Building and Fonterra’s Global Headquarters. Kathryn has since gained extensive international experience, leading projects in San Francisco and delivering others throughout North America, Asia and Australia. These included projects for some of Silicon Valley’s most innovative tech clients such as Google, Genentech, and HP, which have since allowed her to add an international perspective to local New Zealand projects, particularly in regard to placemaking strategy across large campuses.

Since returning to Jasmax in 2020, Kathryn has used her expertise in workplace design to deliver functional, sustainable, and appealing spaces that improve the way we work. This is evident in recent projects including the multi-award-winning MC and AUT’s A1 building which is currently under construction.

Good interior strategy and design is crucial for the future of businesses. Clear design vision increases productivity and performance, and staff retention. More and more people are valuing lifestyle and wellbeing, and the balance and choice of amenities that a sustainable, well-designed workplace strategy and fit out provides is key.”
