Jeff Thompson

Since joining Jasmax in 2011, Associate Principal Jeff Thompson has applied his extensive experience to a wide range of projects across the tertiary education and healthcare sectors. With over four decades of architectural experience, Jeff has an in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and a sound understanding of the construction industry.

Jeff aims to deliver outcomes backed by evidence to benefit the users of a space and the environment, with a commitment to low carbon design. His recent projects include the University of Auckland B201 Building – one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most sustainable developments and a world-leading exemplar of low carbon design, and he is currently working on Central Plant for Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai | Auckland. This project enables consolidation of primary services distribution and will become the most resilient and publicly significant base-isolated structure in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
