Andy Anderson is a venerated leader in the architectural profession, with over 30 years of broad design and building experience both locally and internationally.

As the leader of Jasmax’s commercial practice group, Andy brings an open and unassuming approach to every project. His comprehensive commercial track record ranges from delivering complex retail centres, hotels, large commercial buildings and vast luxury residential developments in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, and USA.

Andy is particularly fascinated with how the design of commercial projects can enrich the lives of users and passers-by. Andy aims to exceed the expectations of both the client and the public, which is deemed a project’s ultimate success.

With an impressive portfolio of mixed-use commercial developments, adaptive reuse of heritage buildings and hospitality, much of Andy’s work can be seen in Auckland’s city centre. These projects include Fonterra Head Office, Cordis Hotel’s Pinnacle Tower, QT Hotel and The CAB refurbishment. Andy also has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the aviation sector, having worked across a range of projects for Auckland Airport. Andy applies his wider commercial and retail expertise to these projects to deliver memorable passenger experiences.
