Jun Tsujimoto named Head of Design
We are pleased to announce that Principal and Senior Architect Jun Tsujimoto has been named Head of Design at Jasmax.
Jun brings a wealth of expertise to this role as a highly accomplished architect with extensive design experience across projects of varying scale, typology and complexity in Aotearoa New Zealand and Japan, delivering innovative spaces that resonate with place. In his role of Head of Design, he will continue to provide design leadership through the practice’s Design Excellence process. Alongside Shannon Joe, he will collaborate with project teams to ideate, test, evaluate and refine all designs produced by Jasmax.
Throughout his tenure at Jasmax, Jun has contributed to the design of many ground-breaking tertiary education and culturally significant projects, including the recently completed B201 for the University of Auckland – one of the country’s most sustainable developments and a world-leading exemplar of low carbon design. Jun also has extensive experience working collaboratively with communities and mana whenua to integrate cultural narratives into designs.
