Matthew Glubb is the CEO of Jasmax. He has a background in architecture with 25 years’ experience leading major projects in Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad.

Throughout his career at Jasmax, Matthew has been instrumental in advancing design quality, bicultural practice, and environmental leadership within the business. He is extremely passionate about the business’ potential to contribute toward a resilient, sustainable future.

Prior to being the CEO of Jasmax, Matthew was Head of Design, responsible for championing design excellence across the practice. He continues to provide mentoring to design teams and direct design input to many projects, ensuring they deliver real value to our clients and the communities in which they serve.

His extensive experience in leading the design of major projects has resulted in a clear understanding of the collaborative design leadership required to deliver projects successfully within environments that are often technically challenging and politically complex. His unique ability to hold vision whilst managing complexity has been key to his success in the industry.

Some of Matthew most significant projects include the Auckland City Rail Link, the national Fale Malae, New Zealand Pavilion at Expo 2020, Britomart Transport Centre, Auckland Light Rail Transit, and the Eden Park Redevelopment for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
