Paul Lelieveld
Paul Lelieveld is an Associate Principal and senior architect who will lead Jasmax’s new Queenstown studio. Working predominantly across the commercial, education and civic sectors, his expertise lies in the delivery of highly complex, large-scale projects, which involve multi-disciplined consultant teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
In addition to a kura redevelopment project for the Ministry of Education, Paul recently led the award-winning Pā project for the University of Waikato throughout the Covid-19-impacted construction phase, responsible for managing client relations, the design consortium and wider consultant team. Prior to this, Paul led multiple projects connected to Te Ao Mārama, the South Atrium redevelopment at Auckland War Memorial Museum, including overseeing the comprehensive refurbishment of several heritage galleries.
Highly collaborative and skilled at community and mana whenua engagement, Paul supported the development of the design brief for Tauranga Campus – the University of Waikato’s first major tertiary education facility within the region.
