Nick Moyes

Leading the commercial sector at Jasmax, Nick Moyes is a Principal, multi-award-winning architect and Fellow of the NZIA, with a career spanning almost three decades working in Aotearoa New Zealand, Canada, UK and the US. His portfolio includes landmark developments in the commercial office, mixed-use, industrial, retail and hospitality sectors and Nick is now one of New Zealand’s leading specialists in domestic and international airport terminal design.

The connecting force throughout Nick’s career has been his commitment to increasing the resilience, sustainability, quality, performance and longevity of commercial developments. Considering space efficiency, seismic design and the drive towards net zero carbon, Nick regularly works alongside long-time Jasmax clients such as APL/​Profile Group, Dexus, MC, Newcrest and Stride Property as well as Queenstown, Tauranga and Auckland International Airports. All place significant value on the environmental impact of their facilities and business operations and share a desire for excellence.

This is reflected in two projects receiving the PCNZ Supreme Award, the NZI Centre for Newcrest, one of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s most sustainably designed and high-performing buildings, and Waste Management Headquarters, for Waste Management and Stride Property, which set benchmarks for sustainable, innovative workplace and industrial design.
