Nick Moyes is a Principal and multi-award-winning architect with a career spanning almost three decades working in Aotearoa New Zealand, Canada, the UK and the US.

Focused on sustainable commercial development, Nick has a deep appreciation of design from the perspective of a property owner and investor, as well as a tenant and building user. He works with clients such as APL/Profile Group, Newcrest, Stride, Dexus, MC, Tauranga and Queenstown Airports and Auckland International Airport, which place significant value on the wellbeing of staff and the environmental impact of their business operations.

Resilience is key to Nick, and he is immensely proud of his contributions towards increasing the quality, performance and longevity of buildings being constructed in Aotearoa today. Considering seismic resilience and the drive towards net zero carbon, he is focused on designing buildings that will last not just 50, but 100 years.

Since joining Jasmax, Nick’s passion for sustainable design has consistently resulted in award-winning design, including the 5 Green Star rated NZI Centre – one of Auckland’s most sustainably-designed and high-performing buildings, and Waste Management’s HQ, which set benchmarks for sustainable, innovative workplace and industrial design.

Nick demonstrates his commitment to the industry both through educating the next generation of designers at The University of Auckland and Unitec, and active participation in organisations such as Property Council New Zealand and Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects.
