Nick Moyes

Nick Moyes is a Principal, multi-award-winning architect, and Fellow of the NZIA, with nearly three decades of experience across Aotearoa New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the US. His diverse portfolio spans landmark developments in the commercial office, mixed-use, industrial, retail and hospitality sectors. Nick is also recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading specialists in domestic and international airport terminal design.
A unifying theme throughout Nick’s career is his commitment to enhancing the resilience, sustainability, quality, performance and longevity of commercial developments. With a strong focus on space efficiency, seismic resilience and the transition towards net zero carbon, he works closely with long-standing Jasmax clients including APL/Profile Group, Dexus, MC, Newcrest and Stride Property, as well as Queenstown, Tauranga and Auckland International Airports. All place significant value on the environmental impact of their facilities and business operations and share a commitment to design excellence.
This is exemplified in two recipients of the Property Council New Zealand Supreme Award: the NZI Centre for Newcrest — one of Auckland’s most sustainably designed and high-performing commercial buildings, and the Waste Management Headquarters, for Waste Management and Stride Property, which set a new benchmark for sustainable, innovative workplace and industrial design.
