Nathan Groth

Nathan Groth is an Associate Principal and architect with over 20 years’ experience across the US, China and Aotearoa New Zealand. His portfolio spans civic, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and transport projects, with a particular strength in delivering complex, large-scale developments.
For the past seven years, Nathan has led the delivery of the nationally significant Waikato Regional Theatre – a highly complex cultural project combining specialist design expertise, technical complexity and extensive heritage refurbishment. He also been widely involved in public transport solutions for station and bridge design through masterplanning, feasibility, concept design, and site observation.
Nathan is highly regarded by clients and contractors for his ability to foster collaborative, high-performing teams and deliver successful outcomes on challenging, long-term projects. An adaptable and pragmatic architect, his previous roles at Arcadis included project architect for upscale Nordstrom retail stores across the US, designing three major shopping centres in China, and large-scale apartment developments for Goodman Real Estate and Sealevel Properties in the US.
