David Ruane
With over 20 years’ experience working across Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and Ireland, David Ruane is an Associate Principal with a deep understanding of international design standards. David predominantly works on school projects and has also been involved in the design of residential and infrastructure developments.
David’s exceptional communication skills and strong analytical abilities have proven instrumental in efficiently resolving design challenges and ensuring smooth project delivery. He is driven to create an equitable built environment that fosters social connectivity and enhances liveability within communities.
Prior to joining Jasmax in 2019, David led numerous high-profile mixed-use developments as well as secondary and tertiary education projects in Australia, including Prahran High School in Melbourne – one of the first vertical schools to be constructed in Australia. Since joining Jasmax, David has led the design of Onehunga Primary School’s new vertical learning and learning block, which forms the first step in a comprehensive masterplan to redevelop the existing campus, as well as the new Catholic College for St Ignatius of Loyola in Drury.
