Alistair Scott
Alistair Scott is an Associate Principal who works on commercial projects, with 40 years’ experience working in the construction industry.
Having worked as both a contractor and architect, Alistair has extensive knowledge of all facets of the industry, including briefing, design, and delivery. He has worked across various project typologies, including bespoke residential, institutional, commercial, retail, civic, conservation, and large-scale masterplanning developments.
Since joining Jasmax, Alistair has played a key role in designing workplace, aged care, and hotel developments, including the refurbishment and extension of the Cordis Hotel in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, which, upon completion was the largest hotels in Aotearoa New Zealand. Prior to joining Jasmax, Alistair held leadership roles in the design of several large-scale institutional projects, including the University of Auckland’s Science Centre and the Hine-Pāka Bus Interchange in Ōtautahi Christchurch – one of the anchor projects identified in the city’s Recovery Plan following the 2011 earthquake.
Alistair has spent approximately 15 years abroad, working on high-profile transport and masterplanning projects in London and conservation projects in Italy.
