Evelyn Axten

Evelyn is a Principal at Jasmax, and co-leader of the Wellington Studio. Evelyn has worked on a diverse range of small to large scale projects across a broad range of sectors, including Jasmax projects Lambton Square, NZ Post House and Zealandia in Wellington and Quad 5 in Auckland. In 2016 Evelyn returned to Jasmax after two years’ working as a Senior Architect in London, for EllisMiller and Foster + Partners.

Evelyn established her career in the design stages of commercial, residential and mixed-used buildings. She has exceptional interpersonal, client oriented service skills and is highly skilled at delivering significant projects. Her ability to build rapport with clients, consultants and stakeholders brings an optimistic and social dynamic to the project teams she leads.

An active member within the wider architecture industry, Evelyn is also a committee member of the NZIA Wellington Branch and for the past two years’ has been involved in the organisation of the NZIA Festival of Architecture in Wellington.

Evelyn also has strong expertise in RevitBIM software having used collaborative BIM exclusively on all projects both here and in the UK.
