Evelyn Axten

Evelyn Axten is a highly accomplished Principal and the co-leader of Jasmax’s Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington studio.

She has over 15 years’ experience working on a diverse range of projects spanning commercial, cultural, residential, transport and health developments in New Zealand and the UK. As a natural leader and excellent communicator, Evelyn excels at leading project teams, particularly on complex, large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.

With a deep understanding of the Wellington market, Evelyn has made significant contributions to key developments in the city, including BNZ Place and 61 Molesworth Street. These projects have required an in-depth understanding of local planning requirements, optimisation of their unique sites, as well as expertise in integrating seismically resilient structural technologies. 

Evelyn is currently working on the Fale Malae project, that will establish an iconic cultural institution on the Wellington waterfront.
