Elsa Benjamin

Elsa Benjamin is an Associate Principal with more than 30 years’ international architectural experience. Her expertise lies in large-scale commercial developments, including hospitality, hotels, aviation, residential and education projects.

Elsa is particularly passionate about projects that make a positive contribution to their surrounding public realm, as well as adaptive reuse projects that present challenges and opportunities to breathe new life into existing buildings. She has strong interpersonal and client liaison skills, and enjoys being part of a collaborative project team, to which she brings extensive site experience and the capacity to formulate practical solutions to unexpected situations.

While at Jasmax, Elsa has worked on various projects for Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Auckland International Airport as well as the QT Hotel in Auckland and Beatrice Tinsley Building at the University of Canterbury. Prior to relocating to Aotearoa New Zealand, Elsa worked in Padua, Italy on the restoration and renovation of heritage buildings.
