Andy Brangwin
Andy Brangwin is a Principal and Senior Urban Designer with more than 15 years’ professional experience in the built environment. His background in architecture and project management has seen him work across varying project scales from masterplanning and the design of large mixed used and tenure schemes in the UK, China and Canada, to the delivery of bespoke residential architecture in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Andy works alongside large landholders to unlock the value of their projects, while supporting their ongoing commitment to existing local communities. He specialises in developing delivery pathways and services in a truly integrated manner, as well as facilitating stakeholder engagement. He works by the principle that the vision for a placemaking scheme should translate into each stage of delivery.
Since joining Jasmax in 2015, Andy has led the masterplanning of large-scale regeneration schemes in Auckland, including Tāmaki Regeneration, the revitalisation of Panmure Town Centre, Auckland Light Rail, and work for Kāinga Ora. Andy has also led development feasibility projects for both public and private clients and worked with the Green Building Council of Australia on the development of the current Green Star Communities tool.
