Alistair Luke

Alistair Luke is a Principal with over 35 years’ experience in the architectural industry. He has led the design of many complex civic, cultural and commercial projects that deeply resonate with the heritage and culture of Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

Alistair’s expertise lies in projects that require an expression of identity and placemaking, enhancing and enriching the experience for all who interact with a space. His approach is based on open communication that builds trust, fosters transparency, and cultivates a deep understanding of the processes involved in realising architecture.

He is currently working on the Fale Malae project on Wellington’s waterfront and Golden Mile. Recognised for contribution to the profession of architecture, Alistair was named a Fellow of the NZIA in 2023.
