Alistair Luke is a Principal with over 35 years’ experience in Aotearoa New Zealand’s architectural industry. His extensive career demonstrates a wealth of award-winning designs in the cultural, civic and commercial sectors. Alistair’s work is deeply connected to the heritage and culture of Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, as illustrated throughout his work including Wellington Zoo Amphitheatre, Carter Observatory and Zealandia Visitor Centre.

Alistair has led the design of innovative, large-scale, complex civic projects, including Wellington Airport’s new terminal and the Alan MacDiarmid building at Victoria University of Wellington. He is currently working on various city-shaping projects, including Fale Malae and Golden Mile.
