Two Principals appointed in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington

We are pleased to announce the appointment of architects Evelyn Axten and Alistair Luke to Principal in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington studio. These appointments are driven by growth opportunities in the region and Jasmax’s commitment to continued success in the capital.

CEO Sjoerd Post says their design and leadership skills will make for a powerful combination.

This combined with Alistair’s highly regarded design skills and the depth and breadth of his knowledge and experience will be an asset to the practice.”

Alistair is well-known in the capital's design community. His extensive 30-year career shows a wealth of design leadership in the civic and commercial sectors. He has led projects such as the Main Terminal at Wellington Airport, the Wellington Zoo Amphitheatre and the visitor centre at Zealandia.

With an established career in commercial, residential and mixed-use buildings, Evelyn has been a Senior Architect with Jasmax since 2016. Currently a key part of the team delivering the NZ Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai, she has brought her energy, design and leadership skills to Jasmax projects such as 7 Waterloo Quay, Lambton Square, and Quad 5. An active member within the wider architecture industry, Evelyn is also a committee member of the NZIA Wellington Branch.
