Jasmax achieves Rainbow Tick Certification
We are pleased to share that Jasmax has achieved the Rainbow Tick certification.
This certification follows a rigorous assessment and audit of Jasmax’s policies and procedures, through a lens of diversity and inclusion (D&I). It endorses the practice’s understanding and welcoming approach to sexual and gender diversity, and support of LGBTTQIA+ employees to reduce barriers to self-expression. Jasmax is proud to be recognised as an organisation that values and embraces all employees, free from judgement or discriminations.
Chief Operating Officer and member of Jasmax’s D&I Group, Sue Marshall, says: “The Rainbow Tick certification affirms our commitment to remaining accountable and ensuring we offer a safe and inclusive workplace where people feel they can be their whole selves. The practice will continue to develop this work, providing education, advice and support for our employees.”
Associate and member of Jasmax’s D&I Group, Monica Greco, adds: “As a member of the LGBTTQIA+ community, achieving Rainbow Tick Certification at Jasmax holds deep personal significance for me. It represents a workplace that embraces and celebrates the diverse identities and experiences of its employees, ensuring that I can bring my authentic self to work every day. It is a powerful symbol of inclusivity, respect, and acceptance.
To those considering working at Jasmax in the future, I hope this certification speaks volumes. It signifies that Jasmax is a place where individuals can thrive, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. It also signals a commitment to fostering a supportive environment where diversity is not only valued but celebrated.”
The Rainbow Tick certification process has included practice-wide engagement and various community building initiatives, including an upcoming talk by artist, curator and activist Shannon Novak about the key drivers and process behind his work, and its impact on LGBTTQIA+ communities, in our Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland studio.
Thank you to our Diversity & Inclusion Group who have been instrumental in initiating and carrying out Jasmax’s Rainbow Tick certification. The practice remains certified until June 2024.
