The jury stated: “We loved how the design connects the past and also future generations, the artwork invites you in. We really liked how the project took inspiration from traditional design and how technology was used, that makes this project truly unique.”

The project was also awarded Bronze under the Toitanga category.

Jasmax was also awarded a Gold Pin for DLA Piper’s workplace fit-out, under the Offices & Workplace Environments category. Jasmax and Beca were jointly awarded Silver for DLA Piper’s lighting design.

The jury described the project as “A highly crafted, well detailed and elegant workspace that exudes calm and serenity which is a difficult feat in workplace design. The star of the show is the exquisite stair design.”
