An Associate Principal at Jasmax, Shauna is the Wellington Regional Leader for Interiors and studio leader based the Wellington office. She specialises in workplace and commercial interior design and has designed and delivered many government and corporate fitouts in her role as a project architect. She is currently managing the design of several concurrent offshore Consulate-General and workplace fitouts for government departments throughout New Zealand. Previous projects include large fitouts for Beca and Contact Energy in both Auckland and Wellington, government/public-sector fitouts for the Civil Aviation Authority and Leadership Development Centre, and workplace concepts for the Ministry of Social Development in Wellington. Prior to her career in interiors, Shauna worked in civic and residential architecture in Auckland and San Francisco.
Shauna’s expertise spans the entire range of interior project development, from initial briefing stages and space planning, through the management of design and consultant teams to observation of construction. She has a particular interest in developing an understanding of the specific needs and aspirations of clients, ensuring that this understanding drives every decision throughout project development. Shauna is also is a keen advocate of integrating sustainability principles in everything Jasmax does, from design to the operation of our offices.
