Ken joined the Jasmax Christchurch office in 2012, having returned to New Zealand after five years’ spent working overseas in London. With almost 14 years’ experience, Ken leads Jasmax’s South Island commercial sector, bringing experience and leadership to a creative team of architects with diverse skill sets.
As a Project Architect, Ken leads multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver multimillion dollar new-build projects, with a passion for delivering world-class multi-use projects for complex stakeholder groups. This is particularly evident in his role as project architect on the recently completed award-winning 151 Cambridge Terrace.
Experienced in the role of lead consultant and the main point of contact for complex stakeholder groups, clients and the contractor, Ken’s delivers design quality and profitability whilst prioritising positive client relationships, working in close collaboration with the whole design team with the goal of producing high-quality and highly functional outcomes.
Ken has developed a strong background in sustainable design though his work in tertiary education projects in the UK, utilising multiple leading edge sustainable technologies and successfully integrating them into the projects to achieve excellence in sustainable ratings.
