Four of the Jasmax team are volunteering their time to raise funds for The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust (ARHT) – here’s your chance to support their efforts.

ResQ is a wicked late-night entertainment event on October 29, don’t miss your chance to support a vital lifesaving service. Buy Tickets Here.

Organised by Olivia Owen, Sarah Leggett, Gwena Gilbert and Jayne Kersten, their mission is to raise $10,000 from the night – enough money for the ARHT to save two lives. With the ticket being all inclusive, that’s dinner and drinks sorted, and the entertainment comes in the form of live or silent auctions, raffles, and basketball shoots and hoops. To round out the night, bands Courtroom Brown and The White Chapel Jak will pluck some strings for entertainment.

ResQ has grabbed the attention of many New Zealand companies including Fonterra, Zeffer Cider, Twenty-Seven names, Allbrids, Six BarrelSoda, and several more who have donated products for the fundraising event.

Jasmax is a proud support of the ARHT, who completes around 1000 missions a year, often in unpredictable circumstances that will throw even the most headstrong of people.

“It’s a great cause to get behind. If everyone gives a little, the trust can continue to provide its exceptional service. It’s about saving lives,” organiser Sarah Leggett said.

On 19 November, when the fundraising hype is over, the Jasmax team will be putting themselves into the shoes of the ARHT team. They are enduring a 15km high-intensity course in the Woodhill Forest, filled with a series of simulated incident zones for the Rescue Run. The course is designed by disaster relief and emergency service professionals including New Zealand Police, New Zealand Fire Service, Land Search & Rescue, Civil Defence & Defence Force to simulate real world rescue scenarios.
